For all the disable persons the Prime Minister has launched a scheme named PM Electric Wheelchair Scheme this year 2024 for special disable persons and that’s why it launched this scheme for distributing 500 Motorized/Electric Wheelchairs to empower special students (having ambulatory disability) studying in HEC recognized Public Sector Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Pakistan and the State of Azad Jammu & Kashmir.

Electric Wheelchair Phase III Eligibility criteria:

• The special students who are studying in any HEC recognized Pakistani university and degree awarding institutions of Pakistan and AJ and K requiring ambulatory assistance.
• The interested and eligible candidates need to registered before
• Students enrolled in undergraduate, postgraduate, MS/Mphil and PhD Programme.
• Valid certificate of special ambulatory need from relevant government institutions duly verified by head of respective institution.

How to apply PM Electric Wheelchair Phase III :

The interested and eligible candidates may submit their applications online though hec.gov.pk/wheelchair, print the application form and attached necessary documents and submit through office of respective vice chancellor or designated person, universities will forward all eligible cases to HEC in one transaction by  for distribution of wheelchair on merit basis.
