Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the entry test, candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. Education: Applicants should have completed their Bachelors or Intermediate (HSSC, F.Sc Pre-Medical, or equivalent) with a minimum of 70% marks. Students awaiting their results can also apply for the test.
2. Domicile: Only candidates with a domicile of Sindh are eligible to appear in the entry test for admission in MBBS/BDS programs in public and private sector medical and dental colleges/universities.

Entry Test Pattern

The Sindh Medical Colleges and Universities Entry Test comprises a total of 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with each question carrying 1 mark. The distribution of MCQs is as follows:

• Biology: 80 questions
• Chemistry: 60 questions
• Physics: 40 questions
• English: 20 questions

The total time allocated for the test is 2 hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes). It is important to note that there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
