The small farmers will get subsidized fertilizers, seeds, and pesticides besides loans and compensation for damaged crops.

PITB has developed a digital platform and has provided all district administrations with user logins to enter details of farmers in their jurisdictions. The information added to the system pertains to demographics, contact details, crops and landholding patterns, livestock, irrigation system, and mechanization. Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the Kisan Card scheme will bring about a revolution in the country.
Punjab Kisan Card in Pakistan Registration Online Eligibility Criteria
Registration for Kisan Card has been started across Punjab. A farmer can register for a farmer’s card. Farmers can get a subsidy on fertilizers, seeds, and sprays after getting a farmer’s card. Farmers must first register to get a Kisan card. For this purpose, farmers should contact the Department of Agriculture with the original CNIC. No registration fee is being charged by the Punjab government for the registration of the Kisan Card.
The government of Pakistan started grants for the Pakistani farmers. NADRA supports the program in confirming the beneficiary eligibility determined through NADRA Citizen Database. This activity ensures transparent disbursement of the grant by Biometric Verification using Tablets and Terminals. Sites are established for verification of beneficiaries before the grant is given. Online Registration:
- Farmers can call up Kisan Call Center through a toll-free phone number 0800-17000. Registration of the farmers is done by the Kisan Call Centre Agent at the Kisan Call center who records personal details of the farmer in the Kisan Knowledge Management System.
- Farmer is then asked to opt for his mode of receiving information/advice i.e. Text message (SMS) or Voice message.
- Preferred language options are then entered. Urdu and English options are given all over Pakistan.
